The connectome
The provided adjacency file contains 2,952 neurons, 110,677 weighted connections and 352,611 synapses. The published Winding et al. study describes 3,016 neurons and approximately 548,000 synapses. The counts refer to different scopes; this build does not fill missing neurons or connections with invented data.

The neural model
A leaky integrate-and-fire cell runs at 1 ms steps. Connections retain their supplied positive synapse-count weights. This file has no neurotransmitter signs, so global inhibition is a model choice, not a measured inhibitory connectome.

For each coin, a seeded split assigns 119 loaded taste neurons to sugar and 119 to bitter. Those taste assignments are game inputs, not experimentally verified sweet/bitter classifications. Bitter also applies an inhibitory kick to the feeding-output cluster.
The readouts
Hunger summarizes normalized DN-SEZ feeding-output activity; arousal summarizes total spike rate; mood compares the two taste sets. Rates are measured over a rolling window of up to ten seconds of simulated time. These are interface readouts, not validated measurements of emotions or subjective experience.
The fly body
One rendered sphere or point represents each loaded neuron. The 3D brain layout is a seeded force layout. The office body's shape and adult wings are illustrative geometry. The neural dataset remains larval through all visual growth stages.
Growth and sleep
Egg → L1 → L2 → L3 → Pupa → Adult thresholds are 0, 5, 15, 40, 70 and 100 eaten buys. A feeding-output response is required before a queued buy counts as eaten. The 25-minute sleep timer is an explicit game rule. It is not biological sleep or neuron-driven metamorphosis.
The work
Trade counts, distinct buyers, market quotes, milestones and hourly reports are ordinary code. They are derived from stored public events. Buyer totals are distinct wallets per coin; the farm total sums those counts and can count the same wallet across different coins. No report claims to audit a coin or predict its price.
Live service status
The persistent Node service uses one PumpPortal websocket, resubscribes after reconnects, deduplicates events, persists to SQLite and runs neural workers. A browser-local model lab remains available when the trade service is not configured. Local lab inputs never become market statistics.
Creator fees and burns
New Hirefly launches disclose the platform creator wallet before approval. Existing coins keep their own fee route. The buyback service needs a real $HIREFLY mint, a funded platform signer, spending limits and an explicit enabled state. It starts paused; there are no burn receipts before real finalized transactions.
